Product JSON is Shopify-shaped for agent compatibility (`{ "product": { ... } }`).
Prices are GBP and include VAT guidance on the storefront; live delivered totals need a UK postcode.

### In-browser WebMCP tools

Chromium agents that support WebMCP can use tools registered on every storefront page via
`document.modelContext` (see `/seo/assets/cms-webmcp.js`). Page context ids look like:

Core tools:

- `search_catalog` — search live products/pages
- `get_product` — product details by handle (or current product page)
- `get_page_context` — current URL, title, page type, schema id
- `open_product` / `open_search` / `open_cart` — navigate the shopper
- `get_cart` — read the shopper cart in this browser session
- `ask_store_assistant` — ask Buckley Chat for catalogue / quantity / delivered quotes

## Conversational assistant

Same-origin chat API used by the storefront bubble:

- `POST /chat-agent` with JSON `{ "message": "...", "path": "/products/...", "history": [] }`
- Returns `{ ok, reply, products?, quotes?, intent? }`
- For delivered prices: product + quantity + full UK postcode
- For turf quantity: lawn size (e.g. `30 x 10`) → recommended rolls

Prefer WebMCP `ask_store_assistant` when already on the site in a browser agent session.

## Checkout note

This storefront is Buckley’s own PHP/IIS site (not Shopify Liquid checkout).
Agents must not invent payment completion. Guide the shopper to `/cart` and the on-page buy box,
or use Buckley Chat for live delivered quotes, then let the human complete payment.
